Custom Squarespace website design for a travel and volunteer experience brand offering cultural stays, guided adventures, and community-based programs in The Gambia.
Smile in Gambia needed a website that could capture the feeling of the experience itself, vibrant, welcoming, personal, and deeply connected to local culture. The goal was to create a platform that balanced adventure and trust, while making it easy for visitors to explore accommodations, volunteer opportunities, tours, and experiences without feeling overwhelmed.
Through immersive visuals, intentional storytelling, clear navigation, and strategic booking flow, the website was designed to guide visitors naturally from curiosity to action. Every section was carefully structured to create a sense of warmth, excitement, and reassurance while highlighting the family-run nature of the brand and the authenticity behind each experience.
The final result positions Smile in Gambia as a trusted, experience-driven travel brand with a strong sense of personality, connection, and cultural depth, creating an online experience that feels vibrant, welcoming, and intentionally designed from beginning to end.
