Circle of Wellbeing
Circle of Wellbeing is a feminist, trauma-informed NGO supporting women and children in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley through mental health care, education, community wellbeing, and emergency response programs. This custom Squarespace website was designed to communicate compassion, trust, and impact through a calm, intentional digital experience that encourages meaningful involvement and long-term support.

Custom Squarespace website design for a trauma-informed nonprofit organization, featuring strategic storytelling, donation functionality, and compassionate, community-focused UX.
Circle of Wellbeing needed a website that could hold emotional depth and professionalism at the same time, something sensitive, clear, and deeply aligned with the organization´s values and mission. The goal was to create a digital presence that communicated trust and credibility while making it easy for visitors to understand programs, explore impact, and support the organization through donations, partnerships, and community involvement. The challenge was balancing emotionally impactful storytelling with clarity and accessibility, ensuring visitors felt informed and connected without becoming overwhelmed by the weight of the subject matter.
Through intentional pacing, calming visual direction, structured content flow, and trauma-informed design principles, the website was carefully built to feel welcoming, respectful, and easy to navigate. Programs, community stories, and impact-focused messaging were presented with clarity and care, while donation and volunteer pathways were integrated naturally throughout the experience in a way that felt supportive rather than transactional.
The final result positions Circle of Wellbeing as a compassionate, credible, and high-impact NGO with a strong and meaningful online presence, creating a digital experience that builds trust, strengthens visibility, and helps communicate the organization’s mission with both clarity and humanity.
